Reps. Joaquin Castro (TX-20) and Greg Casar (TX-35) introduced an amendment to the FY 2024 Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Bill that would prohibit federal funding for Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s money-wasting Operation Lone Star, which targets migrants for arrest, jail, and deportation. Let them know you appreciate their advocacy! Then urge your own U.S. representative to vote for the amendment.
