Katie Myers, Chair of the Interfaith Welcoming Committee and facilitator of the Mid-Texas Welcoming Committee will be hosting the first “Live from the Border!” summer education series on July 10 at noon.
The series will be presented on the second Wednesday of each month over lunch. It is an outgrowth of a grassroots movement of compassionate individuals united by their shared concern for those affected by border issues. It is nonpartisan, interfaith and ecumenical.
