The IWC served 25,802 people between January and August 2023. The 2023 monthly average was 3,225. In August 2023 alone, the IWC served 3,858 individuals at the bus station and airport. The vast majority were assisted at the bus station.
As can be seen from the graph above, there was a major drop-off in migration through the border since Title 42 was rescinded in May, but there has been a continual uptick since then.
In the last full calendar year (2022), IWC served 92,856 with a monthly average of 7,738.
