On April 17, IWC received a check for $12,631 from the Texas Giving Machines campaign run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at the Historic Pearl redevelopment area.
More than 20 organizations benefitted from Texas Giving Machines, which were placed in five locations throughout Texas from Nov. 20-Dec. 3. Texas Giving Machines were at the Pearl from Nov. 20 – Dec. 3. On Dec. 3, IWC placed volunteers by the machines at the Pearl on Dec. 3 to provide more information to shoppers about our programs.
At the heart of the Giving Machine’s mission is the belief that every person deserves compassion and support. By joining this incredible partnership, IWC extended its commitment to providing a warm welcome and essential resources to those in need.
