Our guest speaker for the January 11th general meeting is Margaret Constantino, Executive Director of the Center for Refugee Services.
A licensed professional counselor, Margaret earned her Master’s in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She spent over 20 years as a career counselor in higher educational settings and taught at UTSA for six years. She co-founded a local community mental health program, where she worked for three years.
A lifelong resident of San Antonio, she has worked with the resettled refugee population in San Antonio since 2008, teaching ESL and citizenship classes and addressing their psychosocial needs.
