The Interfaith Welcoming Committee seeks a Downtown Staff Coordinator (part-time) to help with the following crucial responsibilities.
Ensure efficient, mission-aligned work from Welcoming Associates by providing the following support and oversight:
- Create work schedules that cover all needed shifts (and adjust them as needed).
- Train new staff and ensure that current employees are performing well.
- Maintain alignment between the work of paid staff and volunteers.
- Act as a liaison to IWC leadership, Greyhound management, and partner orgs.
- Model excellent employee conduct with all stakeholders.
- Be the first point of contact for staff needing assistance, and
- Evaluate the performance of paid staff frequently, giving feedback as needed.
Collaborate with IWC staff and volunteers as well as with partner organizations by doing the following:
- Keep accurate records of arrivals and departures.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
- Communicate needs to IWC leadership; and
- Work as a positive, proactive, flexible teammate.
Perform other duties as assigned to support IWC’s mission.
