It was an emotional day. We helped a gentleman whose wife had recently died in the jungle. She was seven-months pregnant. He wanted to get back to Eagle Pass to go BACK over the border and into the jungle to find her and bury her. He had no money. We found a way to buy him a ticket, packed him up with food and wished him well.
It was heart-wrenching, but we were so glad that we could help him, nurture him, and wish him a “Via Con Dios.” Serving at the bus station is very rewarding.
