University Presbyterian Church is fundraising for backpacks for asylum seekers at the bus station and airport.
A suggested donation of $20 will fund the purchase of three backpacks filled with a blanket, water bottle, and hygiene supplies. A prayer flag will be given as a thank-you for the donation.

*Prayer flags are made in honor and memory of IWC founder the late Rev. Kelly Allen. Inspiration for the flags comes from Tibetan prayer flags printed with a prayer and then strung between mountains. The belief is that the printed prayers blow in the wind out into the universe. Flags are on display in the UPC library and in room 5 of the CE building.
